In-House Cremation

Guardian Animal Medical Center agrees to use reasonable care to return the ashes of a specific animal when so indicated. Guardian Animal Medical Center is not responsible for inadequate marking or other identification of remains by the referring veterinary hospital or for the animal identification which becomes detached from the animal during transport. The parties hereto understand and agree that not all bones or other hard structures may be entirely consumed by the cremation process and that such is a normal part of a cremation, especially on larger animals. Special arrangements must be made for animals over 125 pounds or for those over four (4) feet in length overall. Animals or their remains which require special permits for disposal must have all accompanying documentation. No poisonous or venomous animals, skunks, raccoons or monkeys will be accepted for cremation. All birds of prey must have appropriate transportation documentation. Animals which have tested positive for rabies will not be accepted. Cremations must be picked up within 14 days of cremation.
