Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services: Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets’ complete health care needs.

Surgical Services: Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures.

Anesthesia: We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide that extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient’s vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures.

Radiology Services: Our on-site, modern X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the diagnosis of many disorders.

Ultrasonography: Often requires a specialist, but we have one in the hospital, and it is used for abdominal and basic cardiac examinations as well. In addition, we work with two board-certified internal medicine specialists who perform ultrasounds when small structures, such as adrenal glands, are in question. They also perform more in-depth cardiac evaluations when needed.

Electrocardiography Services: We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists.

Laboratory: Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.

Pharmacy: We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet.

Dentistry: Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, dental X-rays, tooth extractions and oral surgery.

Individualized Flea Control Programs: We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control fleas in your house, in your yard and on your pet.

Puppy and Kitten Plans: We offer discounted puppy and kitten plans. These plans are designed to include all wellness and preventative treatments including examinations, vaccinations, deworming, fecal exams, flea and tick prevention, and heartworm prevention.

Dietary Counseling: We will provide guidance regarding your pet’s nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance.

Behavioral Counseling: We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression.

Exotics: We know and care for exotics. Membership in AAV, ARAV and extensive continuing education just for exotics help your not quite normal pets.

Boarding: We provide pet boarding as a service to our clients. All boarders receive personal attention from our caring staff. Pets may be dropped off and picked up during regular business hours Monday through Saturday.

Luxury Pet Suites: these rooms are pet safe with beds and décor, but still our same special GAMC care.

Physical Therapy: Swimming, water walking balance balls and sand are all available and a part of proper healing.

Acupuncture: for dogs and cats – helps stimulate the immune system of weakened animals. Acupuncture works well to alleviate pain in dogs with slipped discs, paralysis, pre- and post-op hip and knee surgery and arthritis. Acupuncture is used only on referral or after a full medical workup. We also do cold laser acupuncture. (No needles, no chance of pain.)

Cremations: For afterlife care, we have on site cremations facilities. No longer does your pet need to be transported out of state for cremation. No matter if it is a private cremations with your pet’s individual ashes returned or a group cremation with ashes buried in a garden, your pet while be treated with dignity always.
